Shari's "Wall of Fame"
Showing cats can be a lot of fun. No, they don't have to run around a ring! They just need to be clean and amenable to being handled by strangers. It helps if they enjoy it! If you have a friendly cat, you may want to try a new hobby. I've shown in the Household Pet, New Breed/Color and Championship classes. Each class has its own guidelines, challenges and rewards.
TICA, All Breed and Specialty ribbons are given to the top 10 cats out of at least 25. Usually there are between 40 and 60! If there happens to be fewer than 20, only 5 ribbons are awarded.
In ACFA, if there are less than 50 entrants in a class, the top 10 are awarded. More than 50 cats, the top 15 are awarded.
